The nearest village to the Lookout is East Prawle which may be reached from the A379 between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth at junctions in the villages of Frogmore and Stokenham.
When you arrive in East Prawle keep the village green on your left and continue down a no-through lane, which ends with a National Trust car park on the left. Climb over the stile from the car park and continue downhill until you reach the SW Coast Path from where you can see the Lookout on the headland to your right ‐ and the path leading to it.
After leaving the A379, allow 20 to 25 minutes to reach the car park and another 10 to walk up to the Lookout.
If using a sat nav, enter the postcode of the Coastguard Cottages, TQ7 2BX but please park in the National Trust car park near the end of the lane and do not drive beyond.
