Penzance - QAVS

Welcome to NCI Penzance Lookout Station

NCI Penzance is a recipient of the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.

NCI Penzance was established in the derelict Gunnery Observation Tower at Chyandour in 2002.  The tower is not in a romantic position, being just above the railway station, but has excellent visibility over most of Mounts Bay, particularly Penzance Harbour and the popular windsurfing and kitesurfing beaches towards Marazion.

Visitor Policy
Visitors are normally most welcome at the lookout although, when an incident is ongoing, this may not always be convenient and the duty watchkeeper may ask visitors to call back later.
