Visitors are normally welcome in the lookout by prior arrangement.
Access
Access is via a locked road barrier and a compound gate. Access onto the station is via 6 steps.
Local Hazards
Yantlet Flats, Chapman Sands, Marsh End Sand, Leigh Middle, Southend Flats, Historic Wreck 51°29.7N and 0°47.2E, Dangerous Wreck 51°28.0N and 0°47.1E, Southend Pier.
