Visitor Policy
Visitors are normally welcome to visit the facility subject to operational factors. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. .
Access

The station is on Landrion Point, which is accessed by taking the South West Coast Path from Sea Road, Carlyon Bay, opposite The Porth Avallen Hotel

 

 

Local Hazards
Mainly stranding by rising tide particularly on Polmear Island to the West of Charlestown.

Visual features of station
The lookout is a white tower previously a coastguard lookout. It is a two story building with a flagstaff. An National Coastwatch Flag is flown when the station is open and a Union Flag is also flown on Royal Occasions..
