CHAIRMAN TOURS THE CORNISH NCI STATIONS

24th July 2022. Earlier this month, National Coastwatch Institution Chairman Clive Pouncey spent a few days in the Southwest touring the Cornish stations.

On Monday 11th July Clive visited the NCI stations at Polruan, Charlestown, Portscatho and Nare Point where he met many members of the station’s teams. The following day, Clive moved to the Penwith area where he visited the stations at Bass Point, Penzance, Gwennap Head and Cape Cornwall before completing Penwith with a visit to St Ives on the Wednesday along with St Agnes Head and Stepper Point. Clive rounded off his tour of the Cornish stations with visits to NCI Boscastle, Rame Head and the National Office at Liskeard
