29th June 2022. Recently the volunteers from NCI Lee-on-the-Solent have been hosting visits by the local Stubbington groups of Beavers.

The watchkeepers have provided them with a full programme of teaching about sea and beach safety along with giving them the opportunity to discover what the National Coastwatch Institution does and how they do it. This included a tour of the station and several NCI related games. These included getting the Beavers to write their names using the phonetic alphabet, plotting bearings and ranges and being present at the lowering of the Union and NCI Flags. All of this was thanks to Deputy Station Manager John, Training Officer Tricia, Roster Officer Mary, Secretary Ian and Quartermaster Ric.
