28th March 2022. This week saw a rare occasion when the last four Station Managers at NCI Rame Head gathered in one place to celebrate the retirement of Robin Gay after 15 years’ service.

 Robin Gay was Station Manager at NCI Rame Head from 2014 to 2017 as well as serving as as Deputy Manager, Secretary, Quartermaster, and Trainer and has finally decided to hang up his binoculars after almost 15 years of service at Rame Head. He is shown being presented by a retirement gift by the current Station Manager, Arnie Kaptein, flanked by Colin Scott (Station Manager from 2017 to 2020), and David Taylor (Station Manager from 2011 to 2014), thereby having the last four Station Managers at NCI Rame Head in one photo! Arnie also conferred on him 'Veteran' status, thereby maintaining his link with the station he has served so well.
