27th November 2021. Congratulations to NCI Porthcawl Watchkeeper Ian C, who was awarded an OBE in the 2020 Queen's New Year's Honours List. However, due to the pandemic, the Investiture was delayed until early November this year.

Ian was presented with his OBE at Windsor Castle by NCI’s Royal Patron, The Princess Royal primarily in recognition of Services to the Ministry of Defence (MOD). However, it also took into account his Service, with HM Coastguard, RNLI and NCI.
