6th July 2022. The National Coastwatch Institution at St Agnes Head reopened at 08:30 this morning to resume watch keeping, after being forced to suspend operations due to vandalism caused during an attempted burglary on June 28th.

The station was forced to close to enable all the emergency and main repairs to be undertaken immediately..

You can listen to a report on the break-in and interviews with some of the volunteer members of NCI St Agnes Head by James Churchfield on BBC Radio Cornwall at https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0ck42yp
