10th June 2021. The Great Orme National Coastwatch Institution station at Llandudno led a community effort to raise funds for the installation of an Automatic External Defibrillator on Llandudno’s West Shore. It is now in place and the Mayor of Llandudno, Cllr Harry Saville, will officially unveil it at noon on Sunday 13th June.
The Station Manager, John Humberstone said “The AED is a fantastic piece of life saving equipment which is now available to the many residents and tourist users of the West Shore. This is another example of our commitment to saving lives along and on the coast and I thank everyone involved in planning and financing the project”.
