16th June 2022. Earlier this month, NCI Gorleston received a call from a jet ski at 10:35 to inform them that it had broken down and was drifting close to the White Swan Wreck. The jet ski had been unable to establish radio contact with HM Coastguard.

There was one adult and one child on board. The Senior Watchkeeper reassured the jet ski operator that NCI Gorleston would relay their message to Humber Coastguard. Humber Coastguard then initiated the launch of the Inshore Lifeboat John Rowntree which went out at 11:05.

The ILB returned half an hour later with the Jet Ski in tow and safely returned the casualties to shore..
