24th June 2022. Earlier this week, the volunteers from the National Coastwatch Institution station at Folkestone attended the Civic Day at the Quarterhouse.

Station Manager David Taylor gave a presentation about NCI Folkestone and what the NCI does as an organisation.He also met with ex-Mayor Jackie Meade who has kindly arranged a grant of £500 to pay for new station signage.

Station Treasurer Chris Clare and Watchkeeper Les Gibbs were also on hand to man the NCI exhibition stand and to encourage more people to join NCI Folkestone as volunteer watchkeepers.
