9th June 2023 The volunteer watchkeepers at the National Coastwatch Institution station at  Newhaven were amazed to see what appeared to be a large number of super-sized dog bones washed up against. Newhaven harbour light! Further enquiries revealed that these dog bones (nicknamed “the Bonio’s”) are in fact inedible They are made of concrete and designed to disperse the power of breaking waves. Sorry, dogs….
